COFFEE/TEA/HOT CHOCOLATE/LATTE COZYS

Here is a great way to go green! resuable coffee cozys!!. They fit all the cups and have a velcro closure in back..I will be getting more made here in the near future..I will also do custom (within reason) if I have a design that you would like on it instead of what you see..and what color felt you would like..I am leaning towards the browner felt cause it is already "coffee" like..but any of these 3 colors are do-able..

I would like you to meet Emma and her puppy dog Charlie..They are waiting by the mailbox for more Valentine cards..Emma comes from the pattern by Dirty Crow Inn…and Charlie from I’m seein Raggedys..She has a cute little black/red/white dress on with little red pom-poms sewed on around the bottom..She has painted eyes and mouth..her nose is machine stitched..She has a cute little black/red/white plaid heart shaped pocket to hold her Valentines in..I printed up copys of these vintage Valentines..on the back it says to and from.I also made a cute little heart shaped pillow that says: Kiss me and another heart in valentine fabric that is inside the mailbox..I painted and stained the paper mache mailbox and added decorations just like we used to do in school.(ahh those were the days)..Charlie has a little red felt collar on with a shipping tag that has his name on it..Emma has the same little plaid pants under her dress and a little knitted sweater over the top..She has brown sheeps wool hair that has been needle felted on and one big white with red polka-dot ribbon in the center…She measures 16 inches tall. Charlie is approx 5-1/2 inches tall.. The mailbox is 5 inches long by 4 inches tall..it opens and closes so you can stash the valentines and pillow for next year..Emma is a versitile doll in that she can stay out all year long with her Charlie too.. I have a wonderful prim kitty from the pattern by Pineberry Lane..I love her patterns..and I loved doing this kitty.. She is painted and sanded to puuurrrfffeeeccction…She has white bead eyes, a pinched stitched nose and red stitched mouth. I have another wonderful doll from Bluemoon beginnings that I just loved doing..she is rag stuffed and has button eyes and stitched eyebrows, nose and mouth. She has a flour sack blouse that has been stained and baked, a red homespun skirt on and a flour sack apron on..I machine embroidered the simplify to her apron pocket. And put a blanket stitch around the pocket attaching it to the apron..In her hands she holds 2 prim pears with stained cheese cloth and a pesky crow, attached with rusty wire. I am totally hooked on this needle felting gig...Love it!!! ..Today I decided to do a witch and if you look at the paper this is what I used to do her..I got the pattern from Shirley Hudson holidays...These are so much fun to do...a bit time consuming but fun...I added polka-dots around the pumpkin and added a real pumpkin stem to the top along with baby pine cones from my yard. I also added a black metal crow to her hat and a rusty star that I glittered up in festive halloween colors from Annie at glitter your world..it is neat stuff..This pumpkin measures 12 inches tall by 8 inches wide. I also used flax for her flowing locks..and rusty bells at the tips of her shoes..:)

I have made 7 wool felt pumpkins that I needle felted a design on to them..Here is all 7 together so you can see how neat they look as a group..All of the pumpkins have a real pumpkin stem that has been dried from last summers harvest and all have little pine cones attached as well..there is also a little halloween tag attached with a rusty safety pin.

The one on the left of the little crow has a twig sewn on for his branch.he has a moon and star and polkadots all around him..he has a rusty bell attached to a rusty safety pin at his neck..Measurement is:8 inches tall including stem by 6 inches around. Price is: 15.00
The middle one, the owl (my Design) has black beeded eyes sewn on and a twig sewn on the bottom for him to stand on..

I have for you today a little 7-1/2 inch wide x 4 inch tall (minus the handle) lavendar/husk shell filled pillow that smells wonderful!! I machine embroidered this piece and it is a cross stitch design depicting a kitchen counter filled with all sorts of goodies...herb infused olive oil, a pestal to grind your herbs..onions in a basket and a pepper grinder or vinegar bottle perhaps..and those wonderfully drying herbs and flowers hanging above..lavendar, rosemary and pretty pink flowers from your garden..:) I also added some dried annie attached with a rusty safety pin and a little rusty bell..that can be removed should you desire...This was done on osnaburg and has a beautiful deep purple ribbon sewn in for the hanger..This would look wonderful in your kitchen on a knob or a hutch...If you have any questions. please ask.. Crows, Sunflowers and Flags

I have for you today 2 cute large sunflowers with a crow on one and a painted flag on the other..Both are made of muslin that has been stained and painted. I added a rusty star to the flag one and sewed on a pesky crow to the other one..he has wire legs and a tag around his neck that says Sunflower seeds 5 cents. I added little x's for the sunflowers to give them depth..I also made the little flag in the center there with red ticking and blue/star fabric and added a red safety pin in the center..this has been tied onto a stick with jute. I added stained cheesecloth to the sticks as well.. These measure approx 16-17 inches depending on the sticks..they will come signed and dated and come from a clean non-smoking home..I have another set available as well.. Laundry Anyone?

Hi there Again, Today I have a wonderful Laundry Grouping just right to "pimp" your laundry room up with..or great as a house warming gift for someone just moving into a new home...I have my homemade laundry soap that I just love!! it comes in a vintage jar(9 inches tall by 5 inches around) that I decopauged the label that says laundry soap. I also added 3 machine stitched items in black frames that were done on wool felt..I painted and distressed the frames and embellished each one a bit differently depicting laundry. The frames measure 9 inches wide by 9-1/2 inches long. I've also added a little laundry basket with a cute cutter quilt and the blocks that spell laundry and some weathered looking laundry pins. I made the cute little dress clothespin bag and added rickrack as embellishment and a rusty coke lid pin to the front..I have put in some laundry pins as well..it is hung by a stick that I turned into a hanger with rusty wire..I got this cute little washboard that would look cute hung on a wall (it has a hanger on the back) and I embroidered the little clothes and tacked them up with squared nails and bakers twine and hung them with little clothes pins...You also get the black bucket great for soaking your unmentionables in or use for something else..I also have my homemade linen room spray in your choice of scent..see the scent list in another post, and last but not least I embroidered the hand towel out of vintage looking fabric and added green rick rack to the bottom for added detail..This whole set can be yours or a great gift to give some one..Please email me to purchase...:)

I added the 4 some in the first photo to show you how different each one is...I loved making these gals..and they sort of take on a life of their own as you add stuff to them...the little one has only one pearly white tooth..just adds to her character..:) The tall one measures 24-1/2 inches tall and the smaller gal measures 16 inches tall..These are sold as a set as the others are.. if you have any questions please let me know..Their bases are antique wooden bobbins..both different..one black and one brown..(read below for all the details) I am too pooped to add it all..

Well I am in the mood for Halloween..I think I am all year round..It is my favorite decorating holiday..and I just got this new cross stitch pattern for my embroidery machine and just had to give it a try and I am so pleased with the way it turned out..A long process though this took 4 hours just to do the embroidery part of it..This has been machine done on cream wool felt and then I sewed an olive green piping around the edges and stuffed it..I also added a few cedar chips to the stuffing..it smells nice..I used a great halloween fabric for the backing of the pillow too.. Boo Ghost and punkinhead come from the pattern by Hand-me-downz.. Boo is all set for the halloween parade and he and punkinhead have front row seats...
Boo is made of muslin that has been painted and stained. his gown is a flour sack that I stained and dipped in black paint....looks like I tye dyed it...turned out super neat...His features are hand sewn and chalkd was used for the shading. I then sealed it. His necklace that says boo is made of air dry clay that has been painted and I used leather for the straps.. Punkin head is made ouf of muslin that has been painted and sanded.. he too has sewn facial features with a candy corn nose that is 3 dimensional. he has rusty wire curly-qued on his hat. Boo is approx 17inches tall. punkinhead is approx 6 inches tall. They will come signed and dated right to your door. Helga is made of Muslin that has been stained ever so nicely..She has painted, penciled and chalked features...I love the way her face turned out...I hope you do too... Her hat is osnaburg that has been painted black and sanded.. it has 3 rusty safety pins and rusty bells attached. Her face even has some "MOLE BLING"..heeheheheee.
